At the beginning of the month, Hailey received an award for excellence in written expression. She was also one of two children from her class, selected to write a book to be unveiled at an Author's Reception. She was so proud to stand up on the stage and share her book titled "Sydney the Dog". Way to go Hailey! Pete was also a very proud/supportive little brother. Where does the time go... Hailey is finishing up the tail end of 1st grade. She has received 8 awards so far this year. I know I surly didn't receive so many awards in 1st grade.
